On Friday, November 18, 2011, Lance Corporal Josh “Chachi” Corral gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, California, in the in the United States Marine Corps, in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He is a 2010 graduate of the high school I attend, and I have gone to school and church with him since kindergarden. He was two grades ahead of me and would always get the presidential fitness award every year. Everyone looked up to him. He played soccer all his life and football in high school. In July 2010, at the age of 17, he enlisted in the Marines. At boot camp he did the best out of all 700 plus recruits in the fitness area. Even though he was only 5’6” he was built like superman. He and a group of his friends all enlisted at the same time and graduated together. He left for his first deployment in September. He was supposed to be home next month. I admire his incredible strength and courage. There are people you want to be like and like his friend, Brock, said, “There are Marines you want to be like and there are Marines that Marines want to be like. He was the Marine Marines wanted to be like.” His favorite song that helped him get through boot camp and through the tough times is “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe and his favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:31, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Chachi, if I can be at least half the man, the Marine you are, I’ll be a great man. Thank you for your service as well as your fellow Marine brothers. I know you are guarding the gates of heaven. Rest in Paradise.
Chachi, there is still so much I wish I could say to you. You were an amazing friend and such a wonderful guy. I really can’t put into words how much I miss you and how much you mean to me, but just know that you’ll never be forgotten. I love you, and I know you’ll always be there watching out for us, USMC ♥
My new favorite GIF ever. Harry is the biggest third wheel in the history of life. Thank God for this GIF.
I mean, I just don’t understand where he gets it from.
HARRY YOU’LL NEVER BE KING.
omg he’s me

this photo look familiar? its of my sister and I. I posted it not long ago, and its since gotten 1000+ notes on Tumblr and counting. The caption of the photo is talking about our bond, and how strong my sister is for continuing to fight her battle of cancer everyday of the past 5 years. Since I posted the photo, my sister lost her battle. She passed away on the 20/12/11 at 8:49pm in my arms. My sister was my bestfriend, and I want to continue to honor her. Reblog to keep my sisters spirit alive for as long as possible, she deserves it.
Everyone to reblog this will be watched over by her tonight <3

This is my little sister, Ashlynn Rose. She’s eight years old, born on July 17th. In August of 2009 she was diagnosed with cancer. For a while everything was going good and she was starting to get better. But then in October she got admitted to the hospital because she wasn’t feeling well. Ashlynn stayed in the hospital until December 27th, taking a couple days out in between. On the morning of December 27th, my little sister passed away. She didn’t even get the chance to open her Christmas presents due to not being able to open her eyes and having trouble breathing. Ashlynn didn’t deserve this and neither do all the other beautiful kids fighting for their lives against childhood cancer. Reblog this if you care, and please pray for a cure.
